The Band is Back, Baby

Hey friends,

Is it just me, or has every week since January felt like it's own separate year? 😅

All (semi-serious) jokes aside, I think it has been amazing to see how much the world has turned to artists in this time of chaos and displacement. I for one, do not know where I would be without music!

Though live shows have been temporarily canceled, many musicians (including myself), have taken the time to really hone in on their crafts; whether that be writing, practicing instruments, recording or collaborating virtually- this time has certainly has proved to be an opportunity for growth!

... or, you know, binge eating ice cream and watching re-runs of the Office- who's to say? 🤷

Either way, I am happy to let you guys know that my band Turtlnck will be resuming weekly band practices (in socially distanced settings)! Not only do we have new members- our bass player (Drea), guitarist (Alex), vocalist (me), drummer (Phil), and pianist (Shai), but we also will be releasing our first official EP in the next few months!

Here is a link to our debut single: Worthwhile- Turtlnck. I look forward to creating music with my best friends again, and having something to share with you so we can get through these wild times together.

Stay tuned for next weeks blog post, where I nerd out about my favorite DAWs (Digital Audio Work Spaces); the pros, the cons, the whys, and the why NOTS.

Let me know if you'd like to see some of these blog posts in video format as well, because that can be arranged *laughs maniacally.*

w love,
